  10. I wrote to the Gorbachev Foundation and they sent me a packet of their 
  11. activities and objectives etc.  One of the sections contains information 
  12. concerning the STATE OF THE WORLD FORUM.  This will be held in San 
  13. Fransisco September 28 - October 1, 1995.  I thought that I would relay 
  14. some of the info they sent FYI.

  28. OBJECTIVE:

  30. As we enter an era of increasing instability, unleashed by the resolution 
  31. of the Cold War, the Forum will facilitate a collective exploration of the 
  32. challenges we face coming into the 21st Century.

  34. A three-day working conference to be held September 28 - October 1, 1995, 
  35. in San Fransisco, the Forum will include: private, interactive 
  36. discussions, and the creation of educational and historically significant 
  37. print, audio, video materials to further inform and empower individuals in 
  38. this critical debate about the future of the human community.
